GRAACA Fall Tour

On October 14th, the Fall Tour will be based in Maryland. We will start our day at 10:00 am at Frey’s Brewing, 8601 Mapleville Road, Mt. Airy, MD 21771. for their Morning Brew. It is a beautiful venue and scenic area. They offer a large menu of hot beverages and bakery items to get your day started. They are looking forward to hosting us. There will be a trivia question with prize.

Our next stop will be the Strawbridge Shrine in New Windsor, MD. It is the homestead of the founder of Methodism in America. It is a living history museum with the buildings dating from the 1760’s. The staff will give us guided tours.

Our lunch stop will be at Flick’s Pub in Taneytown. The residents at the Lorien Assisted Living Center will be getting a treat. We will parade our cars around the building for them to see, then head inside to eat at the pub. The food is great. Lunch will even come with a couple of door prizes.

Finishing our day will be a choice between a nearby Antique Mall or a short drive to Baugher’s Farm Market.  Both stops take place in the rolling hills of central Maryland.

Lunch choices are on the sign-up sheet in the Sept./Oct. issue of the newsletter. Deadline to register is October 5. Any questions call Annette or Dan Yost 410-635-2530.
