8th Annual WGOT/EMMR Convention

48th Annual WGOT/EMMR Convention to Honor Ken Brenn & Stan Lobitz; Loaded With Track Time Opportunities

The 48th Annual WGOT/EMMR Convention is set for August 26-28 and with Ken Brenn as the Grand Marshall. Stan Lobitz will be honored for his dedication to EMMR and motorsports.

This year in addition to track time at Williams Grove on Friday night and at the Fairgrounds both Saturday and Sunday, Saturday night Lincoln Speedway will host the EMMR Vintage Cars as part of the Kramer Klash.

46th Annual EMMR/WGOT Convention

Honoring Perry Trimmer. “Grand Marshall” is Reading Fairgrounds. 

Friday night: Museum open ’til 6 pm.

Saturday & Sunday: daytime events at Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. Afternoon track time at Latimore Valley. 

Saturday car show 10 am – 3 pm. Registration fee $10. Rain date is Sunday. Contact Carol Weaver 717-465-2191.

36th Latimore Valley Fair

A Country Festival at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. Arts, crafts, flea market, live entertainment all weekend. Vintage race car track time on Saturday. Car show on Sunday. Old tractors, engines tractor pulls Sat. & Sun.

EMMR Spring Open House

At the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. The museum opens for the 2020 season! 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Auction, refreshments and roundtable. 

Saturday: local Drag Racing heroes. Sunday: Pancho Carter, Sprint Car Hall of Famer and Indy 500 pole sitter in 1985. Also Steve Stapp, car owner, mechanic and builder. Central PA Bood Bank.

Cruise-In at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing

10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Rain date August 25. All vehicles and makes welcome. Best of show cash awards: Car $100, Truck $100, Street Rod $100. Sponsored by Bricker’s Famous French Fries. Door prizes, food and music, 50/50 drawing. Dash plaques to the first 100 participants. Track time with the vintage cars Saturday & Sunday 1-3 pm. Contact Carole Weaver (717) 465-2191.

45th Annual EMMR/WGOT Convention

At the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing and Latimore Valley Fairgrounds, and Williams Grove Speedway.

Honoring George Wolf. Grand Marshall is Guy Brown. 

Friday night: Track time at Williams Grove Speedway. Saturday & Sunday: Daytime events at EMMR, afternoon track time at Latimore Valley.
